Saved me from going to the ER

We have several large pieces of furniture and when we had children I decided to keep the house safe from children, I bought several packs of them. I didn't think my daughter could turn furniture, but I went and installed it anyway. On one occasion, my daughter almost managed to flip one of the items, but the strap held and stayed attached to the wall. If I hadn't installed them, we probably would have gone to the emergency room.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Worked great, installation was pretty easy.

My little boy is a climber and I knew as soon as we got him out of the crib I had to clear out his dresser and shelves. I wasn't sure how the strap concept would work but I was pleasantly surprised as it works perfectly. I love that I can easily adjust the rod to move the dresser away from the wall if needed. Installation was easy and I didn't find any of the screw issues that other reviews have mentioned. I suggest pre-drilling the holes to make drilling the screws easier. I would buy them…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Easy to use, NOTE: 2+ straps available for each piece of furniture

Easy to install and looks like a quality product although the outer brackets are plastic (at least the middle hinge is metal). 4 stars because I didn't know until I saw the packaging that it is recommended to use at least two straps for each piece of furniture. This should be included in the product description. Also note that whenever possible you should drive the screws into the wall studs that have a pilot hole pre-drilled in them. If wall studs are not available, anchors should be used when

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Secret

These straps hold furniture together and make me feel better. I used a pair for a bookshelf with a "cardboard" backing. I had to mount it on top, which doesn't support the particular design very well due to the way it's angled (I had to tie a knot on the strap). Also, perhaps due to the configuration, they have a lot of play, so if objects could fall off the furniture, like books on the bookshelf or a lamp on a dresser, the child could still be dangerously flung (but better than crushed by all…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Lots of things

Please get dressed!

We bought these because my son's dresser fell in his room. Glad he wasn't among them. His dresser was very heavy, so he never thought it would tip over. The reason he fell was because he opened all the drawers at once. The weight of the boxes filled with clothes made him fall over. My son is 5 so he jumped off the street. He was looking for something, so he just opened the boxes. I always thought these straps were for people who don't supervise their kids and don't let kids climb on furniture…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Damaged

Easy to install, peace of mind is priceless!

I have an almost 3 year old boy who absolutely adores giving me heart attacks. He once knocked over his dresser after pulling out all the drawers and climbing onto them. This is a VERY solid high quality dresser and quite heavy. my husband had tested it full weight before and didn't think it would tip over. so we didn't back it up. Good. when I heard a SLAP and tears and ran into his room in my sleep. I found him lying on the floor with a dresser hanging over him with a small cut over his eye…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Transparency
