After I received this product, I left it outside for 2 days to charge. However, I found that it doesn't charge at all. The instructions say you can just press the button on the remote to switch between modes, however the remote itself was completely dead out of the box. Can't confirm the lights and alarms as I haven't been able to use them.

After experimenting with this alarm I added it to my emergency survival kit. Home safety during a power outage emergency is high on my priority list. It's the perfect device to get an alert when someone is approaching. The loud sound of this motion detector alone would be enough to deter all but the most determined intruders. It appears to be well made and should hold up well to the outside conditions. I will order a few more of these.
