🧪 Accurate Nitrate Test Kit – Compact, Convenient, and Reliable at 5 x 5 x 4 inches Review

Probably the best Salifert test kit ever. It is very easy to read and gives accurate results. I won't be switching to another brand anytime soon.

Accuracy seems a little questionable, well water tests showed this set around 25 while lab tests showed 10.9. However, well water has been known to fluctuate (but probably not that much).

I've done half a dozen nitrate tests and have had the best of luck with the Salifert and LaMotte. They seem to be the most consistent and accurate kits. I also like how they put exp. the date on the box so you know when to throw it away.

Initially I had trouble distinguishing the pink and red color palette on the comparison chart. I put a 6500K LED in my desk lamp and it's 100 times easier to read. Saltwater only - the company also makes a freshwater version, the only difference seems to be the color chart. Maybe not the best nitrate test kit, but for the money it's pretty good.

Salifert test kits are easy to use and as accurate as without a laboratory. You are simply the best. Very not flashy, just good. GOLD STANDARD. People complain about the paper instructions getting wet, the box falling apart, etc. Just take care of your kits and they'll stay in as good shape as you, the user, let them do. I love her.
