Same product as discontinued BIOTENE Original Flavor - best dry mouth product

Unfortunately GlaxoSmithKline, a big company as it often does, acquired BIOTENE from Laclede, Inc. in late 2008 and a few years after that they discreetly discontinued the original BIOTENE flavor and added a few inferior products which they tried to look like "same". Apparently, GSK discontinued the "original flavor" because adding salivary enzymes to the product costs a little more. But it's OK. $10 for a liter bottle, which is by no means cheap. So GLK simply saved a few cents to increase its

Goodbye Biots! in Mouthwash

bye bye BioteneBack to the "REAL" agreement. Salivea Dry Mouthwash is the only product I've found that contains real enzymes to help maintain the saliva's anti-acid response and the alkaline pH of the mouth. Complete oral care/value ((great)) and for the teeth!

Miracle Mouthwash: Oral care

This product is outstanding! I am undergoing chemotherapy and have dry mouth and mouth ulcers. I was absolutely dissatisfied before using this mouthwash. Tastes great and is so soothing. After a day and a half of use, the inflammation had decreased significantly and the mouth ulcers had decreased and become more tolerable. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from any circumstance.

Glad you have the original case back

Used for years before it was purchased and reformulated. I'm glad the original company revived the original (enzyme-based) formula. I breathe/snore through my mouth when I sleep and rinsing my mouth out with this mouthwash before going to bed helps. Oddly enough, I have less sore throats/strep throats. And I believe I've reduced any minor problems related to mouth breathing/snoring at night.

I love it but please give this great product a less disgusting name!

This appears to be an exact or fairly close replica of the old Biotene mouthwash formula when Biotene still had good ingredients. I love the product but the name is disgusting! You see, Salivea has the exact viscosity (thickness/taste) of saliva. Every time I take a sip I feel a little nauseous because the name makes me imagine taking a sip of saliva. Alien Saliva. Just. This is the new biotin

People! I found this product after spending an hour looking for a replacement for the reformulated (and now ineffective) Bioten. It's from the original manufacturers and it's got those good sweet enzymes that we crave. It's been a few years since I had my previous Biotene formula but as far as I can remember Salivea tastes the same or at least very similar. It's definitely a mild mint, there's no burning sensation, no flavor to get in the way of eating, and it WORKS. Again, I can only use a few
