It works surprisingly well. I waited until I thought my gel polish was just starting to rise from the bottom (just a few nails were) and used this product to "scoop" the polish off my nails from the bottom up. He removed the polish well and quickly and my nails are MUCH less damaged than if I put them together myself. I prefer this method over the soaking method because it's faster and doesn't damage the nails.

Fragile plastic. It does the job but I feel like I can find something better. Also, the material will deteriorate if nail polish remover or acetone gets on it. I don't think they should build a nail polish remover out of thin, lightweight plastic that melts when it touches the nail polish remover; it's common sense. The stainless steel version would have been more efficient and had a better build quality.

I have bought metal gel polish remover sticks and they are not as good as this one. The design is perfect and will not damage the real nail when pressing off the polish. Great product for those who like to do gel polish at home.
