Description of Salmue Platinized Titanium Rhodium Palladium

The palladium-plated anode is a reticulated platinized titanium anode designed for use in electroplating baths for helium and palladium plating or acid gold solutions. The titanium mesh adopts electroplating machine and electrolyzed water, and the surface is effectively cleaned and activated by gold, silver and copper ornaments to clean the surface of the workpiece. The titanium mesh uses electroplating machine and electroplating water, gold-plated surface, silver and copper ornaments, and is coated with a layer of platinum or gold to protect the jewelry and prevent oxidation. Titanium mesh is pure titanium material, which is not easy to dissolve, is not easy to change color, and has good electrical conductivity. It can be bent and hung on the edge of a heat-resistant glass beaker to allow the mesh portion to be immersed in the solution. The mass anode is 2.5 micron titanium plated metal.

Not worth the money

This jewelry making kit was a complete letdown for my Arts and Crafts project .The items in the kit were poorly marked and the instructions were confusing. The few pieces that I managed to create fell apart shortly after. The only pros were the different materials included. The cons were the overall quality and the lack of clear instructions..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Requires specialized handling and expertise for proper use and maintenance

You get what you pay for.

This is exactly what I expected for $8 but had to try it out of curiosity. They are NOT suitable for chlorates as stated in the Q&A but contradict the label saying the maximum voltage is 2V. You may be able to use it as a cathode in a chlorate cell if your pH was perfect and started heating to avoid free chlorine. but not as an anode. Unless you're making the mysterious oxide soup, skip this junk. But you already knew all that, right?

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
