What happened?: Running

I've had two pairs of these shoes before and they've been great. Each pair has literally clocked up over 1,000 miles and they've been great on the road and on the track. Protect your feet from bumps and roots on the trail while providing great traction. This new couple is completely different. The sole is softer and you can feel the rocks and roots on the sole. I did two races in these shoes and later in the races my feet bothered me which was not the case with the previous two pairs. I like…

Great shoes - needs a break in period

Well I've had this pair of shoes for a few weeks now. To be honest I was quite disappointed at first because they were tighter than expected and my legs really hurt for the first few days. After a few weeks I've worn them a bit and it's a very noticeable tear as they've stretched out a bit to fit my foot and are a lot more comfortable. Great active shoe for walking, trail running, cross training etc. I would definitely recommend them with the caveat that they either require a short break in…

You are really small.

I usually wear a US 10.5 wide. So sometimes I need 11 if the shoes are tight. I've never had a shoe I've ever bought, I needed a size 11.5. In these I did. So order at least 1/2 size larger and be prepared to send them back 1/2 size larger. One reviewer said they are not small and should be snug and "give them time to adjust".
