Fantastic Solution for Ailing Folks!

Based on our own experience, this silverware set is a lifesaver for those with degenerative conditions. The design is incredibly ergonomic, making it easy to grasp and hold. The silverware is also lightweight, which is perfect for folks who tire easily. The lack of fancy frills actually makes it more efficient, as there are fewer crevices in which food can hide. Our only con is that they aren't available in different colors, which would be helpful for visually impaired individuals. Overall, a…

Pros
  • Designed specifically for individuals with hand weakness or arthritis, making it easier for them to eat independently
Cons
  • The silverware may pose a challenge to individuals with fine motor skills issues, as the handles are thicker and bulkier than traditional silverware

A great choice for patients with tremors

Very nice, good quality and well covered spoon. Two things I would change about this spoon: make the arm shorter and make the bowl of the spoon deeper because the food doesn't stay on the spoon very well. Not bad in general, although with a good weight. Signed, BY

Pros
  • Weighted silver utensils make eating easier for caregivers and aides in nursing homes and nursing homes, and are also great for the elderly struggling with independent daily living
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Sharp and unsafe eating and drinking utensils

0 stars! This fork weighs just over 6 ounces, not 7 ounces. The fork teeth are very thin, uneven and sharp. Not sure! They are not filed smooth or rounded. It can harm an elderly person with a tremor. do not recommend! It is not exactly as advertised. Photos added for viewing. Dad didn't like it and refused to use it. Too clumsy as the handle is so thick and the end of the fork is so sharp and easily scratches and punctures skin (lips, mouth, fingers).

Pros
  • Ribbed plastic handle for a comfortable grip while eating
Cons
  • Out of style
