Has worked as expected so far

It worked as expected on my mum's old Acer Aspire One zg5, it came with 512MB and now recognizes 1.5GB so the memory isn't pumped up which improves performance. . Installing it on an Acer Aspire One was quite difficult as I had to remove the entire motherboard to install it.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Negative present

Used to improve the performance of an old computer. This .

Used to improve the performance of an old computer. This gave it extra life to complete a simple task that required extra memory to get the job done more efficiently.

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Minor issues

Anyone else buy this?

I bought this for my ACER GF laptop which was built sometime between Jesus and 2003. It worked, hence the 5 stars. An Acer laptop is a POS. And it runs Vista on 2GB - HAHAHAHA. (before this order it used 1GB) Stoneage

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Frequency

Works perfectly! Speeded up my Acer Aspire One netbook

Perfect for my old Acer Aspire One AOA150 netbook from 2009 with XP. I managed to upgrade from 1.0GB of RAM to 1.5GB (maximum for this particular computer's BIOS). Getting hold of the RAM in this particular netbook wasn't easy. You actually have to disassemble the entire computer, but once that's done, installation is a breeze. I removed the old 500MB of RAM and replaced it with this 1GB of RAM. Everything went great and my computer became noticeably faster. New life for old technology…

Pros
  • There's something in it
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Perfect for Apple MacBook 2006-2008

Compatible with Apple MacBooks 2006-2008 made of all-plastic black or white. A few 2 (2GB total per machine) were used in each Macbook to bring them back to life and allow OS X Lion (10.7) to be installed. The processors were Core2 Duo based models that I tested them on.

Pros
  • Confidence
Cons
  • Infuriating

Excellent, cheap and with very fast delivery!

I was skeptical at first because it's supposed to be 1GB RAM but the pictures show 512MB RAM. I'm confused but this one matched my other 1GB RAM pieces. I ordered this baby and after 1 day it arrived. Yes, this is a 1GB flash drive, not 512MB. The delivery was very fast, I am a satisfied customer. It worked fine on my 2008 MacBook Pro.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing

Looks like a great lamb!

I bought two sticks of this sheep from two different sellers. Both have been used. This is the first time I have ever bought a used sheep. When I got home I excitedly started the installation. Long story short, one stick worked fine, the other didn't, but I forgot which stick was from which seller. Most likely the seller sold me a bad memory or it may have been damaged before I received it as it was poorly packaged. Since I swapped two identical sticks of RAM, I couldn't tell which vendor sold…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • sad packaging
