Bought to replace a switch in my Kenmore that had failed allowing the microwave to work even with the door open. Fixed it immediately, took about ten minutes to install.

Once you've figured out how to remove the panel to access the door switches, take a few photos of the connections before you remove them do the assembly. It must have taken me 10 minutes.

I purchased this part to replace the Samsung sensor and bracket. The device was delivered with two of the three sensors already installed. This detail saved me from buying a new microwave. So far this block has worked very well.

Fixed an issue that caused the microwave fan to run all the time due to a broken one of the three switches in this bracket. You can replace the switches yourself, but you'll have to figure out which one and it's not as easy as fixing it. It went straight in.

So if your microwave door won't close completely but works when you press and hold it, then this product should solve the problem. This worked for my Samsung SMH1926S microwave model. My Samsung SMH1816S worked with the door open. After doing some research and realizing it was a door switch and there are three of them, I decided to order this entire assembly. The switch was a breeze thanks to YouTube. As I suspected it was the lower derailleur but now I have all the new derailleurs which should last until it's time to replace the whole thing. My microwave intermittently turned on when I opened the door. The problem occurred sporadically and at first I couldn't identify the defective switch with a multimeter. So I decided to replace all three, thinking the others would probably wear out just as much as the one that failed. Well the day after I ordered this build the lower derailleur failed completely and I was able to isolate the faulty derailleur. There are several videos on youtube to help you fix your microwave oven. I bought this product because I saw the wrong YouTube video that said you can just pry the switches out of the case with needle nose pliers. NOT CORRECT! You'll need to remove this assembly from the microwave (held in place by two obvious screws) to access the small plastic brackets that hold the switches in place.
