In August 2016 when I purchased my $4.99 cable it was either NOT an OEM product or a poor quality and poorly manufactured OEM product. Connections are perfect. and the cable works well *enough* for a $5 cable. Baud rate and voltage are within acceptable limits. I just don't know how long this cable will last.
