Review on 🔌 Optimized Data Cable for Samsung Galaxy Note by Dana Mahendra

This is the standard charge/data cable that comes with new Samsung phones. It allows you to charge your phone quickly and has additional data channels. Also, the double width plug prevents friends/spouse/kids from using your charger as it is only suitable for new Samsung phones! Read my ramblings below about Samsung's godly customer service and ridiculous warranty policy. In case you didn't know, using a non-SAMSUNG cable with your phone will void your warranty. I didn't fix it until my original charging/data cable broke, Verizon didn't have them and Samsung required me to send them my defective cable first before they replaced it. Since I couldn't be without my phone for very long (and yes, I have expensive insurance but it doesn't cover Samsung warranty items), I used a new, high-capacity charger while the replacement was being processed. When I called Samsung to see how long this would take and mentioned that I was using one made by Verizon, which was not intended for Samsung but had the same performance, I was told that I had voided my warranty. What yes. Even the cable that Verizon used in the store to set up my phone wasn't Samsung branded, so my very expensive phone went out of warranty just moments after it was taken out of the box. We are not talking about warranty coverage for DAMAGE caused by non-Samsung parts, we are talking about you ever allowing a non-Samsung item to connect to your phone. Car charger, AC charger, data cable you use to transfer some of your music - having ANYTHING other than a Samsung connected to your phone will void the warranty. It's like using a Motorola cable is WORSE than getting your phone wet. A wet phone is not covered under warranty due to damage that may have been caused by water, but if your wireless service provider sets up your address book using a Motorola proprietary data cable, there is no warranty.
