- After about a year and a half of regular use, the screen burned out for some of my friends who frequently used white or light designs, did a lot of Internet or text-based work, and so on. Due to the lack of stereo speakers, the sound is uninteresting and lackluster, with only a hint of bass (despite the speaker's apparent volume). The issue is remedied in later models, where the audio quality improves greatly; this is not a dealbreaker by any means. After using the gadget for a year and six months, I have run across a wide variety of firmware errors, all of which required a full reset of the device. There was a sudden boost in stability from one firmware update to the next; I can't say whether or not a similar jump will occur in future updates. Yet in all honesty, the problems are minor, and many can be fixed by simply rebooting the device. It's reasonable to anticipate nothing but flawless performance from the flagship model. But, because I can only think of three instances, this is more of a minor criticism. The charge is quickly depleted under heavy load. The battery is sensitive to cold.
