Disappointing telephoto lens mount

The expectations for this lens mount were high but it fails to produce clear and sharp images. The range of features and affordability were what drew me to this product, but after using it for a few weeks, I found it to be a disappointment. Through trial and error, I found that the lens struggles with low light and produces a noticeable amount of distortion. Sadly, this mount does not live up to the quality of other lenses in the electronics market..

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Produces distorted images

Works great!: Lenses

Bought this lens to use with my Sony A7R and A7S. It's a very sharp lens, but the depth of field at f/2.8 is ridiculously shallow. But it takes great pictures. Here are two recent examples shot with it on the A7R, around f/5.6-7. Focus and aperture work great, just be prepared for a fully manual lens. 10/10 would buy again
