The only plus point is the cheap price

I bought this lens for my 5D2. The image quality isn't bad, but this lens has some drawbacks. First, the pitch and shear details aren't as rigorous. Second, the mount doesn't exactly match 5d2 - it also dangles a bit. Those two issues don't bother me that much. But the last problem is so annoying. When I use the shift function the 5d2 does not give a correct exposure reading which means I have to take a picture before using the shift function to set the shutter speed to get the correct…

A good lens costs less than half of an analogue lens

Firstly, this lens is completely manual. The aperture control for this lens is on the lens and not available on the camera. There is no metal ring on the camera to control the aperture of this lens. I knew that before I bought this lens, so I was fine with that. If you have a camera that doesn't meter through the lens, you don't have a meter (like D5300 frame sensors, etc.).
