Helps protect my callus

Changed view to 4/5. The product does what it says on the tin and helps polish rough calluses. But it's bloody expensive for sandpaper on a metal rod. But then again, I bought it, didn't I? I have pretty calloused hands from a flying trapeze and this helps support them. I like hand oil, not sure if it really helps, but it definitely can't hurt. Customer service 10/10, first of all I received a broken block with no sandpaper. I contacted the company and they sent me 2 replacements, with a new…

love love love! in hand creams & lotions

Love love love this product! I always shaved off my calluses. It started when I was a young gymnast and continued into my adult life with weightlifting and such until I found this product. The sand strip is much safer than using a blade and much easier than using a razor. It also comes in nice packaging so it doesn't ruin other things in my travel bag. I also used it to heal when they got sick. Gross, I know, but it works very well! I would recommend this product to anyone who has calluses that

  • Great design

Ideal for removing calluses on hands

I wish I knew this existed before. Kettlebell/Kettlebell calluses can be difficult to treat. Most tools are made for the feet and finding the right angle for the hands is difficult. Most of the pumice stones I tried were too light and took forever to cut off the calluses. It fits my hand naturally, mimicking a weighted bar or KB grip, and the texture is aggressive enough to really keep those calluses under control. The napkin is also a good addition.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

OK, not great. 3 stars can be generous

I have used this on my hands where I get very thick calluses that eventually become so thick and inflexible that they come off. It takes a little more work than I'm used to, I used to use multi-slot blades. Even after a lot of work, some of my calluses remain, which means I have to use it more often than I'm used to. I just won't end up using it.

Does what it says on the tin

I really like this product. Since I lift weights 3 times a week, this really helps control my calluses. What I like about SandBar more than traditional pumice stone is that instead of having "holes" that cause roughness, it's like high grit sandpaper taped to the outside. Pumice holes tend to stay filled no matter how many times you wash them off. In this case, all dead skin is washed off. A bit rude but better than leaving it there.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Poor set

This is literally an aluminum tube with skateboard grip tape on one end. Almost $40 after taxes and settlement!? I do not think so! I was so disappointed in this "man hand" product to get over myself. I had imagined the sand granules to be a bit more aggressive. At the very least, offer a variety of suspenders. This article is so-so if you're willing to shell out $40 for something this simple. And don't rely on ointments. You can get the same for a lot less.

Pros
  • Finally bought
