These are the best abrasive pads I have ever used. They're about twice as strong as any other sanding pads I've used. They are excellent for sanding narrow edges. They also seem to last longer than most. I usually have to use a lot of sponges because they wear out very quickly, but these have lasted much longer.

These sanding sponges are about four or five dollars each and a large box from the hardware store. I can't imagine how much profit they have. But I'm sure it's huge. They work just as well and I've used them to sand down my wheels that I paint. I also used one of the courses or sand to sand away drywall dirt on the part of the wall I was repairing. In the future I will only buy them and not buy them in big stores because it will save me a lot of money.

These abrasive sponges work great NEW condition, regardless of grit, on both wood and drywall. I did some very light wood sanding (a couple of boards) and then used them for 2 small sheets of drywall. They didn't rip or tear, but after washing they became very dull. It took me a lot of effort to use them afterwards and I ended up wrapping them with good quality sandpaper to finish the job. I would still consider buying these sponges for small projects as they are easy to hold and flex. ok…
