Works as advertised and has the shortest SAS3 depth.

Works as advertised and is the shortest SAS3 case I could find. Attention: The rackmount holes are a bit wide and have no fuzz factor. This prevents me from screwing it on either side. Will fix the drill, but that's already an expensive case compared to others.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • Compatibility

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A solid option to expand an external SSD RAID with the right controller.

Decent enclosure. Used it to add storage to an older Dell server. I put 4 SSD disks in there and set up Raid 10. I had to use a cable separately because the cable in the box didn't fit. The manual also mentions a backup power option, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Information was not answered. I am deducting a star for these 2 reasons.

Pros
  • Enclosure for hard drives
Cons
  • I'm mad

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good option for a single PS 8x 2.5 " Drive Array

available Works as it should. Would have liked a second power supply option but have no complaints. Otherwise it's a bit more expensive per drive bay.

Works as it should. Would like a second power supply option but can't complain. Other than that, it's a little pricey per drive bay.

MY GOD! That thing is fast!

Initially, installation was easy, it came with a RAID controller, a cable to connect the controller to the rack mounting box (the cable is only 3-4 feet long), and a drive bay in the rack. Easily adjusts to my posture. The drives were a little cramped when added, but they were all locked into the system. I created 2 Raid 60 disks in the unit, partitioned and formatted them, and when I copied the 80GB file, it took about a minute and went up to 700-800MB/s.

Pros
  • Hard Drive Enclosure
Cons
  • No Instructions
