excellent chalk pastel

This is just what my 12 year old needs to take a nice picture. One was broken when we received the box.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • upgradable

Be prepared for broken crayons

I ordered these after another set arrived with some broken pieces. These broken crayons have more, more than half. It's frustrating to give someone a gift when most of them are already broken.

Pros
  • understandable even from old ones
Cons
  • functionality

Good value for money, happily use these

Arrived intact, colors look great and transfer to fingers seems minimal when held from unused sides. I use them as pigment when painting doll faces and need soft effects like eye shadow or blush. Very happy to use.

Pros
  • Manufactured by Sargent
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

She did some chalk drawing and the colors look great on paper

Bought these for my daughter's birthday as she loves art supplies. The chalk feels very smooth and the sticks are strong enough. The pair broke but I expected it and they didn't break unexpectedly. She did some chalk drawings and the colors look great on paper.

Pros
  • Colors go smoothly on paper and blend easily
Cons
  • Not sure

Good quality. on chalk

Very good quality. None of them arrived broken, and after teaching a few middle and high school students to use them for an art project, I still had them intact. I was very impressed. And the pigment is great! The kids made a real mess but the finished projects were great! Really gave the kids confidence to see what they did. We used them on black card stock and they were incredibly vibrant and very rich. The kids and I look forward to using them again!
