🎨 Sargent Art 32-2009 Gallery Oil Pastels, Assorted Fluorescent Colors, 7/16" x 3-1/4" Size Review

Too waxy. When coloring, the colors are erased. In my opinion as an art teacher, craypas are of a much better quality. The Sargent colors look great in the box. It's hard to work on paper.

They are so cool but the packaging could be better. To prevent them from splashing, there should be a rubber band around them. Other pastels from the same grand are better packaged, so they haven't done much since then. Great with black light.

Although Pentel Arts Oil Pastels, Set of 50 Colors were packaged well and without problems, Sargent Art Gallery Oil Pastels 32-2009, various fluorescent colors were very problematic. The two pastels arrived in multiple pieces and weren't even usable. This recently happened to another order I received. Hopefully something is done in the shipping process to avoid this in the future.

I love these so much! I just want the blue to be UV reactive. But the rest works fine. I do a lot of fluorescent/ultraviolet/glow-in-the-dark drawings (because I'm color blind), needless to say these pastels are just the new medium I need to add depth and detail! I was pleasantly surprised when the package arrived a day early in perfect condition with more than enough padding to keep them secure.
