We have an old ceiling light in the kitchen. The lamps are inserted into the clamps so that they can be rotated in many directions. The new LED bulbs are similar but slightly rounded at the front and do not fit into the clips. I used to buy from Home Depot or Lowe's but they don't have anything suitable anymore. I have my fingers crossed that they will be available for many years to come.

I received this light for use in my daughter's Leopard Gecko tank and it has been working great for about 5 months now. At first I was worried it would burn out as we have it on a timer 12 hours a day but no problems so far. We'll use a heat mat on a thermostat and put this bulb in a Flukers 5.5" dimmable dome and dim it a bit. I like to give the gecko a chance to warm up in its den with a heat mat, or go outside and light up.
