This lamp has fine print - NOT for use around birds. These lamps are coated and emit toxic fumes when heated. This onion will kill chicks or other nearby birds.

Revain claims around 5000 hours. The packaging says 6000 hours. We had less than 50 hours of use and the light went out. Very disappointed at this price. Will keep shopping.

lamp arrived safely and works as it should. Very hot for a little extra warmth in my room in Afghanistan which has no heaters. It's reassuring that the pillow warms up over my head and there's an extra hot warmth!
