All ports on this hub work perfectly. Installation was a breeze. According to the iStat menu, SD card readers are easy to use. The USB ports are a little tight so I have to hold the iMac at the bottom to keep it from tipping when inserting or removing the flash drive, but after some wear and tear I expect they will loosen up a bit. The Satechi USB-C hub for iMac fits perfectly into the air vents of the iMac and offers 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C and SD port and Micro SD slots.
