🪑 Sauder North Avenue Storage Bench: Stylish Charter Oak Finish & Organizational Solution Review

I love this bench! I was looking for something that would fit in the small space next to our front double doors. The quality is excellent for the price. Inside, the bench has two compartments, and the top doesn't slam (doesn't close smoothly, but stays open).

I was a bit nervous before purchasing this bench as I wasn't sure about the quality but I'm very glad I did! It's incredibly durable, the perfect size for my entryway corner, and it wasn't that difficult to put together. (On the other hand, I'm very fond of collecting IKEA stuff, so interpret it however you like!) I'm very satisfied.

I'm a small person and I could hardly lift the package when it arrived. After opening and inspecting everything, it took me about 90 minutes to assemble it myself using a Phillips screwdriver and the tools that came with it. I was a little sore from tightening and adjusting. Not bad for a bank, delivered in a compact box. It's mainly used to store backpacks and my kids shit when they get home, but I sat on it and it was fine.

This arrived about a week after ordering and they helped me assemble it. I bought all the Sauder North Avenue items for my new apartment, I like metal and not sure what type of wood it is, but it all looks fresh against the apartment's beige walls. I like this item for storage and as a bench for people to take off and put on their shoes as they enter. For the price I think this company has the best furniture for apartment living.

I was so excited when I got this and assembled it. I have no problems with the box. For the money I paid I wasn't expecting to get a solid wood case and it looks quite impressive. However, the metal frame isn't very strong, which is a bit of a concern in terms of durability. Very happy with this bench. Large size for a small entryway, simple and tidy appearance, plenty of space to store multiple guests or place everyday items - backpacks, purses, keys, etc. In our busy home, things don't lie on the floor. , quite manageable. I wasn't expecting a solid wood bench for the price, but the manufacturer could have paid a little more attention to the technical details. I made some changes during the build hoping it would work better and last longer. Part of the bench is a laminate over chipboard. Most of the assembly is done with dowels and screws. I had my doubts that it would hold up well. I see them crumble over time. I used wood glue with the dowels and where the pieces connect to add extra strength. Lightweight steel
