I had one of these tree guards for a while and loved them. I wanted a tear block and D-rings and it was the best combo so I bought another tree protection strap. Have already used the wood lock and shackles but haven't had to do the double pull with the pulley block yet. Great product that I recommend.

What can I say, it was suitable for my purpose of directing the fall of the tree I fell. Solid (freaking heavy) construction, the prop worked really well too. I haven't tried the harness like others have. When purchasing such devices, just pay attention to the load capacity and make sure that your application is safe! I recommend

The price is good considering the set includes two large staples. However, this combined with a few other items will make your jeep a mess. I bought it to pull trees out of the river. Unfortunately, this was not done in time and the tree was carried too far downstream to recover. At least I'm ready for almost anything now.

I bought this to use in the area for a variety of jobs that might require the use of a strong roller. All products seem very heavy. I was afraid to order as I was going to use it with a 1/2" tree trimming rope and saw a review that mentioned it only takes 8mm cord. Another review mentioned it would hold 1/2 plus more. In fact he will easily take 1/2 rope and as another reviewer mentioned probably 5/8.

Update 03/30/20: I used a tree saver to secure the rear of my Jeep to various stumps and a spanner block to the front of a very tight 1 ton diesel ram with a 40 trailer " gooseneck behind him. I don't know what more do I want? This kit works great and has more than paid for itself on multiple occasions. While shopping for recovery supplies I found this kit, great reviews, great price. I figured that would be enough just in case, not expecting I'd ever really need a dash block. Little did I know
