Didn't like it at all

Didn't like it at all. Using Wet on Wet was awful! I thought my colors had gone bad in the last day or so when I saw the paint stains, but I realized it wasn't my brush or paint. it was paper that formed balls that collected paint in patches and fell apart. Rubbing her with a cloth to try and save her was no better. The top layer of paper was torn off in layers and pieces. I only wrote this review because this purchase sucked for me and I hope it reminds me to never order this again!

Colored pencil - yes/watercolor - NO!

I first bought this type of watercolor paper, which I thought was disastrous (laughs). I'm not new to watercolor painting, but this paper made me look like a beginner. It's incredibly blotchy because the color soaks in very quickly. Unlike other reviewers, the paper could stand quite a bit of cleaning (which was necessary to try and save the painting). So I wouldn't recommend watercolor at all unless you want complex tasks. So I thought it was a waste of time until I found out it was the paper…

Pros
  • Art paper

Excellent hot press paper at a good price.

I love this hot pressed watercolor paper. This is the perfect quality for my pencil drawings and the perfect size when making custom drawings for clients. It was sold out at my local art stores so I was glad to find it here. I see some reviews saying this is terrible watercolor paper but it actually does exactly what it's supposed to do. This paper is hot pressed, not cold pressed. Heat-pressed watercolor paper is not suitable for wet-on-wet or watercolor washes. For this you need a cold press…

Pros
  • Arts, paints and crafts supplies
Cons
  • No performance
