SAWE - 1 Review

Each bulb started blinking after about a month of use. Each LED flashes independently, almost creating a strobe effect. Too bad because I love the warm purple color that lights it up. When I had all 3 bulbs in the cabin it almost looked like a black light room in my jeep. Of course, until it started flashing, I had to remove them.

Great bulbs! They were used as lighting in my boat's cabin (ground level). Please note that the blue lamps I have selected emit a light that is close to blue/purple or a light similar to that of a black lamp. It's cool, but not exactly bright blue like the similar deck and ocean LED lights in the rest of the boat. Que Pink Floyd and some fairy eyes posters and let the good times go!

. The only bad review about the star is that they don't turn off completely and are draining my car's battery. They turn on when I open the car and when they turn off I see they are still on as if dimly lit. The old bulbs didn't burn out, so the wiring is fine. I don't know why they don't turn off completely.

Good LEDs The only criticism - the dimensions of the contact sleeves are smaller than the originals. This should be the standard specification for 211-2, but I don't think so. I ended up bending the metal clips to try to hold them tighter. I'm afraid they might start flickering or not working due to the smaller ends on them. If this starts I might try stuffing the ends with foil to tighten them up. The good thing is that they are really bright and illuminate the interior well.

Out of the 8 packs I bought, 2 were defective. At these prices I can't really complain, but you should probably buy more than you think you need. They give off a fairly faint red light, good if you want something that doesn't blind your eyes at night. My RV had multiple three bulb lights, two on one switch and one on the other. I put a super bright white LED bulb in a single bulb and two of these red ones in a twin bulb so I have the ability to get up in the middle of the night but don't want…

PROS – Easy to install and built to last. A subtle blue at night. Illuminates the cabin and most of the front. CONS - The biggest and only thing that matters (actually works outside) is the brightness level. It's just not bright enough. The rear stays completely dark, which is fairly normal as they're built into the front seat headlights, but note that the stock ones are actually brighter.
