Great memories of scanners and accessories

Everyone over 40 has used regular 35mm film (or other film). I personally have thousands of them and for most of them I don't even have an accompanying picture. It would be too expensive to print them all, especially since I don't know what they are (I'd have to take the risk). I bought this film scanner because it converts all types of film (including Super 8, which is rare) into 22 megapixel digital photos. The operation was very simple and clear. I connected it, added a memory card (you can…

For the price you can't beat this machine

I bought this machine to convert many thousands of 35mm slides to digital format. I like the fact that the feeder can handle up to 25 slides. Manual feed is fairly easy, but can get stuck if the carriage is slightly bent or warped. This is easy to clean. Once you've configured the settings, you can quickly and easily scan multiple slides. I scanned 300 in less than an hour. The interface didn't let me send directly to a Mac, so I had to scan to an SD card and then insert it into a card reader…

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • Only available in black

I've been converting old 35mm slides to digital for a while. I bought a competitor's slide converter a while back and it worked. OK. But this bad boy is doing his job. The HDMI output is very good, and the ability to correct the orientation of the slide before actually taking the picture greatly reduces the amount of post-processing on your computer. In general, things are great. I should also mention that the build is solid and I have a feeling I'll end up selling this thing because there are…

Affordable scanner with unique features.

If an inexpensive product can be easily customized to do exactly what you want and achieve good results, it deserves five stars! This is a very small, well designed device which in my case, as shown in the photo, sits on a makeshift wooden platform whose sole purpose is to simplify the task of digitizing several thousand 35mm slides. The platform raises the scanner, making room for a box to catch the ejected slide, and a support under the slide stacker to hold the scanner in place in case you…

Pretty handy for digitizing memories

So my husband got this for me for Christmas as I've been doing a lot of family tree and pedigree lately. It was perfect for digitizing and saving some family moments! So first of all, it's pretty user-friendly. 5 buttons. But I keep disabling the damn thing since the power button is between the arrow keys and not the OK button, which makes sense to me. You can connect it directly to your computer via HDMI or use a promotional card. It also has internal storage, which is nice. I wish it had a…

Best value for money, why spend more!

For the money the device gives excellent results. It's easy to set up and incredibly easy to use, although it doesn't come with a simplified, full-color US manual. As already noted, the SD card is not included in the scope of delivery, but is required for the operation of the device, so order it at the same time if you don't have it to hand. All images are scanned directly to the SD card and cannot be viewed in real time on a PC. After scanning images, you can select PC from the device menu and
