🧀 Parmesan Cheese Grater - Scanwood Cherry Wood Italian Style Review

Very effective grater. Easy to use and easy on my arthritic fingers! It is difficult to clean unshaken cheese chips from inside the grater. (The blade is very sharp inside and out!) A brush specifically designed to remove those extra shavings would be very helpful.

Unfortunately I have to give a bad rating here. The item I ordered arrived with a decent crack in the wood. At this point the item appears to be still functional, but I wouldn't be surprised if the crack in the wood continues to propagate until the item breaks. If you're looking for a cheese grater, you might be better off getting one that isn't made out of wood.

Very nice well built block. High-quality metal grill on a beautiful wooden base. Grate the Parmesan into fine flakes. Allows you to easily direct the flow of flakes so they don't fly all over the place. Fairly easy to clean - the grate just pops out and slides back in. My device has a finger hole in the grille for easy entry and exit.

Expensive but worth it. I am very impressed with this product. Big and very sharp, I actually just ripped a piece off my finger. Wow. The Parmesan I grated came out very fluffy and thin, a small piece turned into a bowl of grated Parmesan. The wooden base was great for catching everything and not making a mess. The best grater I've ever used. I should have ordered plasters for it.😜

The grater works well. No complaints at all. Easy to hold in one hand. One issue is how long the metal grater stays on the wooden base. The grater is held solely by friction, meaning it doesn't snap. Over time, natural wear and tear can cause the wooden channels on each side that the grater is inserted to become larger and reduce their capacity. The grater needs to stay in place to work properly. Most likely, any loss of holding power will last quite a long time.
