They definitely contain nickel. Nickel is one of my only known allergens. About an hour after wearing one of the silver rings, my septum started to swell. The swelling caused the ring to get stuck. After several painful hours of wearing Vaseline, I was finally able to remove the ring and avoid a trip to the emergency room.

These nose rings are very cute. But still give a five star rating even though I think they are too big for my nose. I try to use smaller and simpler impact rings. But I know others prefer the complete opposite and if that is you then these nose rings are for you. Instead, I could use some of these for cartilage ear piercings.

I ordered them first for a clicker that wasn't even included in my order. I only received the other 5 hoops and 1 of them happened to be in the velvet pouch that came with it. The quality is ok and the tires seem solid. I gave 4 stars because the packaging was great, other hoops look nice but cheap, I would give 5 stars and keep them if all the hoops were really included as in the photo.

To be honest I don't use this set more for extra bar balloons than anything else. Willow clickers were very difficult to close and never stayed closed. The shiny clicker was difficult to detach to get out. A lot of the ends fell off the horseshoes because they don't hold up too tight but you get what you pay for and I have more variety than before on what I wanted so can't complain too much.

Basically I bought this set because of the ring which looks like it is braided and I really like it. I had to use pliers to widen the ring a bit to make it easier to open and close, but with very little adjustment it now works great. The hinge seems strong. Be careful not to let one of the hinges catch on your nose! If it is difficult to open in the hands, it will be much more difficult to remove when it is on the nose. haven't gone through all of them yet. I bought a set of 16 in black and rose gold. The second day I wore the crown/tiara/jeweled rose gold, I smelled cheap metal (smelled like coins) and tasted blood as I blew my nose in one nostril. The next day I took it out to look at it and it looks so faded. You can see where the rose gold plating has worn off so quickly. And it just looks awful.
