My husband loves it good for men

Having used many other brands my husband has been using Schick Quattro Titanium since they first launched it. Now he doesn't want to try any other brand. He's a teacher and he shaves every day! They are very durable. Each cartridge is used very, very often (it changes about every 8 weeks, maybe even longer?). Because he shaves so often, his bread is never too long to get stuck between the blades, hence the longer cartridge life (just about any other brand). The fact that he doesn't want another

Titanium blades really make a difference

I've been using the Schick Quattro since I started shaving (about 3 years ago). It worked very well and still works. Additionally, titanium blades last much longer and are second only to a straight razor (which I can't use in the dorm due to the anti-gun policy) for close range. I really like that it also has a brim which is really good for keeping mustache as per military regulations (I was with ROTC). Great product that stays sharp longer and feels much more comfortable than a regular shave…

Pros
  • A pleasure to use
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Durable and sharp

I chose the Quattro titanium blade because I wore out the original variety fairly quickly. The titanium version lasts a lot longer, but right out of the box they feel a little less sharp than the original. However, they stay sharp much, much longer (I can live with a single blade for 45-60 days and shave every other day). The trade-off between instant sharpness and longer life is a good choice since traditional blades lose sharpness in less than a week anyway. Recommended if you prefer…

The smoothest shave.

I have been using the Gilette razor for a long time. I used to use a dual-blade contour razor. I even tried a 5-blade vest once, but concluded it was just a gimmick with no appreciable improvement in shave quality. Those quattro titanium blades are very impressive though. To this day I still run my hand over my face and marvel at how smooth it is every morning after shaving. Also, I very rarely cut when shaving now - a lot less than with the old Gillette Contour blades, so the safety ribs on…

My current favorite razor blades are

My current favorite is the Schick Quattro Titanium wet razor. Arguably a little less annoying than the Gillette Mach3 Sensitive, it still offers the same close shave and lasts 10-14 days (compared to about a week for the Mach3). The 5th trimmer blade is also practical. Almost never had cuts or bumps when shaving in the shower after pre-shaving with the excellent Panasonic ES8249S. They're relatively inexpensive at $2.32 each at Revain (compared to $2.90 for the Mach3 Sensitive cartridge and $4…

I'm tired of buying blades!

I finally gave up buying cartridges for my favorite Schick Xtreme 3 as they are now around $3.30 per cartridge when purchased without the free Prime shipping to be sold. These Quattros cost $2.06 per cartridge because they come free with Prime. Got one more cartridge than Xtreme but costs more than $1 less per cartridge? Find out. I still prefer Chic Gillette, but at this rate I think I'll try this Dollar Shave Club as soon as I run out of stock. Their website shows you can get a four-blade…

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • Good but not great
