I've been using the Schick Quattro since I started shaving (about 3 years ago). It worked very well and still works. Additionally, titanium blades last much longer and are second only to a straight razor (which I can't use in the dorm due to the anti-gun policy) for close range. I chose the Quattro titanium blade because I wore out the original variety fairly quickly. The titanium version lasts a lot longer, but right out of the box they feel a little less sharp than the original. However, they stay sharp much, much longer (I can live with a single blade for 45-60 days and shave every other day). I have been using the Gilette razor for a long time. I used to use a dual-blade contour razor. My current favorite is the Schick Quattro Titanium wet razor. Arguably a little less annoying than the Gillette Mach3 Sensitive, it still offers the same close shave and lasts 10-14 days (compared to about a week for the Mach3). I finally gave up buying cartridges for my favorite Schick Xtreme 3 as they are now around $3.30 per cartridge when purchased without the free Prime shipping to be sold.
