Description of Pack of 10 Cards - Size 90/14 Schmetz Chrome Universal Sewing Machine Needles

Schmetz Chrome Needles resist heat and wear. Chrome aids the thread to pass through the needle eye with less friction and less heat build-up. Chrome also allows the needle to pass through the fabric with less resistance. 50 Schmetz Chrome Universal needles. Chrome plated. Slightly rounded point. Numerous -- wovens and knits. A great general purpose needle.

They don't need to be changed as often

They last longer, are stronger and handle thicker materials with ease (accidental sewing on thin nose wire while making the mask)

Pros
  • arts, crafts and sewing
Cons
  • boring packaging

The only needles I use are

Schmetz Chrome needles are the only needles I use. They are durable, stay sharp and that was great value. I sew 6-10 hours a day, often with very heavy fabrics, and these needles handle it like a champ. These are by far the most durable and highest quality needles I have ever used.

Pros
  • machine needles
Cons
  • socket required
