SCHMETZ Super NONSTICK Needles 100 Review

I used teflon coated needles to sew on the blackout fabric for the large curtain for our outdoor worship services. The manufacturer recommended the use of Teflon coated needles for this fabric. Joanne didn't have them, although all the other needles were Schmetz (!), so Revain quickly got them. They worked great and I use them for other purposes too!

When using Sailrite tape regular needles got stuck and skipped stitches so I tried these non stick needles but not quite sure if they solve the problem would solve, but they were sewn through perfectly and there were no more problems. Definitely recommend if you need to stick on waterproof tape.

I have used these in my Brother PQ1500 to sew multiple layers of outdoor fabric, upholstery, velcro and piping. The "denim" needle kept skipping stitches. This needle does not exist! The seams turned out nice and smooth without any problems. Bought based on other reviews - very happy! This will be a great bag to keep in your sewing stash.
