Saving time

So important for marking the numbers on the clock. Definitely saves time getting the numbers right. It didn't work without it. The stencil really holds, I know that because I have roman numerals.

This template made a great clock!

I really liked how this watch project turned out! This stencil was perfect for the job, easy to use and good quality. I used screen glue to keep it in place because it has a lot of little marks on it. It really helped.

Too thin - excess paint falls under stencil

I used this stencil and when I removed the stencil excess paint continued to appear. I tried 3 different methods including spraying glue on the back of the stencil. The stencil should be thicker and less flexible. In the end I gave up and painted the whole template black, used it as a clock face and placed a white background behind it. See image.
