    VERY VERY BAD KNIFE SHARPENER!

    I will never ruin my good Schrade knives with this after getting it and seeing how cheaply it is made. There is also a broken valley on one side. Ordinary people, why even offer this for sale?

    Perfect tool for my purpose

    Aggressive grit making it a great tool for quickly touching up a worn edge in the field. I use diamond sharpener oil, a thin coat of light mineral oil, but that's my personal preference. This is a cute little remedy!

    Works best in cutlery and knife accessories

    Bought this to carry in my Nite Ize tool holster with my Camper 91mm Swiss Army Knife. It works well and is easy to protect. I only need a very light pass on each side of the blade to bring it back to razor sharpness. I highly recommend it.

    Seems good enough for cutlery and knife accessories

    Not sure how effective this is for sharpening teeth. That's why I bought it, and maybe the knives I have are heavy duty steel (s30v, s110v), but it didn't seem that effective at sharpening teeth. let's see how it will be in the future

    Exceptional tool for sharpening serrated blades

    This is a very useful tool for sharpening serrated blades. Serrated blades cannot be sharpened with conventional sharpeners. This tool sharpens serrated blades quickly and efficiently. Very helpful. Highly recommended.

    Compact and slightly sharp.

    I've used this a few times to sharpen the Schrade SCHF9N but unfortunately I haven't had much luck getting the knife as sharp as I would like. Wetstone is still the way to go. But if you need to sharpen on the fly, this little knife is nice and compact and can be slipped into a survival kit.

    Diamond rod 180 grit.

    Excellent sharpener. Easily sharpens straight blades, serrated blades, giblet hooks and fishhooks. Note, however, that this sharpening rod is very rough. I have had confirmation from Schrade that this sharpening steel is 180 grit, so I wouldn't recommend it for small touch ups unless your knife is really dull.

    This is a great little sharpener, it fits my supporter and fits snugly under the elastic around the bag. This gives me more room in my bag for kindling, water purification tablets etc. Works well for a quick steel or sharpener, handy in the field. I recommend for quick edge touch-ups.     Exceeds expectations.

    I'm not very good at sharpening blades. I wanted my new jackknife to have a serrated blade for cutting through small branches and a nasty drive when visiting the yard. This sharpener works wonders to restore and razor sharp the small, jagged edges of two blade sizes. Simple, fast and very effective. I would definitely recommend this general purpose sharpener for serrated blades and possibly other tools like clippers and scissors.
