DO NOT BUY - DO NOT USE.

After about 2 years of operation these caps were literally welded to the tire nipples. They wouldn't come off. I had to carefully trim off the rounded ends with a cutting disc on a dremal tool. After that, some of the metal at the base had to be carefully removed with a grinding tool and the cap pryed off. You will then need a valve stem tool to secure the threads.

Aluminum oxidized on the valve stem --- Caution!

Warning! This is aluminium. They look beautiful and sparkle! Maybe they will come in handy in sunny California/Nevada. In the rusty/salty/oxidizing atmosphere of the snow belt BEWARE! They oxidized and stuck to my stems! I can't delete them! I will have to put new valve stems in my tires. Pricey lesson that this is nothing but tire bling. You are truly and completely stuck!

Good Quality Valve Caps

I have a lifetime supply of valve caps for myself and everyone I know, but it's much cheaper to buy them in bulk ($23.88) than multiple automotive kits . I feel better using a reputable brand as many cheap ones will rust or corrode and destroy valve stems which can be very expensive on new vehicles with tire pressure monitoring systems. They have a rubber gasket inside to ensure a good seal. They look good enough, not too flashy and not made out of cheap black plastic that dealers gravitate…

Perfect for me on stem caps

I gave them a 5 for two reasons: They are durable. One of my tires is slowly losing pressure, so I tightened the valve caps as tight as I could. I couldn't break these caps with my fingers and practiced constantly with the Prohands Greepmaster heavy-duty spanner. You look good. In my opinion they look much better on the bike than on the product picture. The human eye can't capture all those little imperfections that are highlighted by the camera's post-processing software. A small downside, not

Metal tire caps

Aluminum caps with rubber seals that I use to replace all plastic tire caps on trailers, hand trucks and vehicles. Whenever I buy tires, I install metal air intakes. and it usually costs me nothing more or maybe $1 a tire. This is to prevent cuts and leaks in the tire's rubber core. I also attached these metal caps for better protection. I even use these metal caps on my garden carts, handcarts, trolleys, golf carts, vans, pickups, cars - anything with a tire. Plastic caps dry out in the sun…

Nice bright silver caps - light weight with rubber grommet inside

Looks great - just like the picture - similar to OEM. Tight fit. Leather gloves provide a good grip to take off to check tire pressure in winter----I've heard that if they stay on the metal caps for too long they can get stuck due to corrosion. Tire and car dealers are really against metal caps, especially on cars with $$ tire sensors. On one occasion, without my knowledge, the dealer removed the original covers during an inspection and replaced them with plastic ones because of possible…
