Schrader EZ-sensor combines 314.9, 315, and 433 MHz applications into one sensor, optimizing inventory levels and eliminating potential lost sales. EZ-sensor must be programmed using a compatible tool, with the vehicle year, make and model protocol, before installing the sensor into the wheel, and before the relearn procedure is performed. Always keep your TPMS scan and programming tool software up to date to ensure maximum vehicle coverage of EZ-sensor. Schrader EZ-sensor 33500 is produced to OEM quality standards and requirements, replicates replicates OE functionality, including auto-locate technology, and is future proofed to support new and pending OE system technologies. Max speed rating is 130 MPH, with a max pressure rating of 115 psi. EZ-sensor offers TPMS coverage in one sensor to increase speed of service, optimize inventory levels, eliminate potential lost sales, and reduce overall cost of service. The rubber valve can be replaced with an aluminum clamp-in valve assembly by using Schrader service kit 34000 (silver) or 34010 (black).

so far so good in my prius

luckily the folks at America's Tire/Discount Tire were kind enough to fit them with my new set of tires. They made a fuss and insisted that I MUST buy them from the dealer so they could program them. They were under the illusion that dealers only sell OEM products that don't actually exist. When they heard it was a Schrader brand, they said they could do it. So if they ask you, just say you bought the sensors from the dealer and hopefully they don't give you a shit for it. I saved $130 on theโ€ฆ

The sensors worked well after activating them with the special tool

After much research I found out that these sensors are able to work at 4 different frequencies so they can be used on most cars. Unlike traditional TPM sensors (which only work on one frequency) they need to be activated with a special tool (check their website for tools that activate them). Activation tells them on which frequency the broadcast is running. After installing these sensors I took my car to 4 different tire shops and none of them were able to activate them, I guess they didn'tโ€ฆ

Worked great for my 2016 Toyota RAV4

Worked great for my 2016 Toyota RAV4. I was able to program these sensors with the same sensor IDs as the original sensors that came with the car. Now I can swap between winter and summer tires without having to take the car to the dealer every time I swap wheels to reprogram the sensors. Unfortunately, many tire dealers don't understand the programming process very well, which might explain some of the negative reviews. . You need to perform a specific procedure with the updated TPMSโ€ฆ
