I bought these pads for my son. The exercise books he was given at school were inadequate and outdated. So I bought them for him and they work great! He is a high school running back and plays outside linebacker. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. The environment is perfect for him.

My son loves these pads he is a receiver and the pads the school gave him for this season were 'all positions' and he had his arms on top raised his head hard, i guess the pads didn't give full range of motion. Since buying these pads, he can reach (and catch) the ball no matter where it's thrown because he can move his shoulders more freely. I would recommend them to any high school student.

So far my son (11 year old, 150 pounds) likes the fit of these pads. He has been playing soccer since he was 5 years old. I love that the Xtra padding is strong and protects the collarbone area exceptionally well. Also the fact that you can adjust the padding to suit the player is a bonus. I will give another star after playing his first game in a month to see how he feels after playing full contact. So for now 4 stars to look at, feel and support.

These pads are the perfect combination of extremely high quality and the junk your baby gets at first. They are lightweight, well padded, adjustable in size and lifelike. This is a great option for mid-range pads. After all, they look elegant and minimalist, without sacrificing quality and safety standards. My son is 5ft 9in, 170 ILB, he hit these pads in a month of sex in high school and he loves them!

Bought for my 14 year old son who plays OL/DL. He loves her. No problem with falling old metal brackets or trying to fasten old hardware. They're lightweight and shaped to allow for more range of motion, which my son thinks he'll benefit from. He also likes that only one strap can be attached to each side.
