I've been trying to lighten a shade of blonde/platinum for a while. There have been close results with Wella bleach, developer and various toners such as the infamous White Lady, Ivory Lady and others (t18, t14, t21 etc.) worked well at first but were always grayer and ashy than the pale colorless blonde hoped for. Then I got to the point where parts of my hair were so porous that these toners only left part of my hair purple and/or blue - albeit left on for a shorter period of time which also…

Best blonde toner :)

I used Color Charm toner. i hated it Wasn't white enough. Would make my ends lavender and barely work on my roots. Not good at all. Something else was needed. I just tried BlondMe in an icy shade even with 10 parts volume developer after bleaching. My results are fantastic! While my hair is blow-dried in the photo, you can see that I have almost no yellowing or frizz at the ends, even though I only apply toner (and bleach) to both sides. (Please don't. You could burn your hair.) This is the…

Perfect Platinum Toner

Love, love, love. I am (or have been) a Wella t18 faithful girl for many years. My natural hair color is quite light but still needs a lot of bleaching and I still have yellow-orange tones. Yellow can only be contrasted with purple. To counter orange, you need blue. Wella T18 is a violet-purple base, so it still left a copper cast in my hair. I decided to try this because I'm tired of just "liking" my hair. When I'm done toning I want to LOVE it. well i like it. It's more expensive than Wella…

Great smell, Perlton, Wella T18 competitor! It's 4.5 stars!

Just to be clear this is a 4.5 star rating not just a 4 star rating. I really liked this toner. I used it with the *amazing* Schwarzkopf 9 Level Lift "Blondme" bleach to do my *very dark brown* roots and also to lift the rest of my hair. Normally I ONLY use Wella products but I have to say this toner comes second in the battle for 1st place with Wella T18 (White Lady) that everyone knows and loves. Each of them has different things to love, so it's a tough decision. First let me be clear that…

Time is of the essence - hair dye

First. I have been using Wella T-18 as a lightening/toning hair for three years. I only made changes when I switched to a blonde bleach for extra lightening (actually lightens my dark hair to a pale yellow better than Wella). I like keeping products in the same family (my thing. To be honest I don't think it matters), I tried this toner to get rid of itching. I bought two pipes but I only needed one for my short pixies, I had one left over. First turn. Catastrophe. Turned my hair into 👵🏻. I…

Need more than one tube but worth the money over

love the shade transforming my hair with a 1.5 to 1 ratio I have used the entire Blondme system and like many others also. usually uses Wella T18 / 14 etc. I reformed! This system is much better. Whitening powder is easier to work with and smells really good! The products are still affordable, albeit a little more expensive than if you were to buy from Sally's competitor items. I've been to the salon so many times and they rarely do the right blonde and when they do I walk away with a $400…
