Poor factory assembly

Arrived with guard and bushing not properly assembled. To properly install this O2 sensor you will need to cut off the portion of the shell that goes into the interior of the Toyota Matrix leaving some of the wires free.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Make sure you have a 7/8 " wrench

The O2 sensor is easy to install. I installed it on a 2004 Toyota Matrix. to disconnect the wiring harness The following week the car passed a smog test in California.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Upgrades

Maybe good for a quick fix to sell the car or pass on the emissions.

My 2006 Matrix was accurate to the millimeter. After replacing it with this sensor, it switched itself off and worked perfectly until the beginning of March 2020. It was purchased and installed at the end of August 2019. It has no resistance in the heating circuit and is reading 0 current data on my scan tool.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Reliability

It's a bit of a hassle, but the savings are worth it.

The sensor itself is the same, the wiring is longer, but the thermal protection is also, so I had to cut it, and then the wire fell out of the connector, so I opened the small metal clip and crimped it again and hot glue connected the four wires together on the back of the plastic connector, this fixed my check engine light problem and I did this during a routine oil change service.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • No version

Garbage! Don't waste money

junk, junk, junk! I've ordered upstream and downstream, both were junk. They didn't work! The light has never gone out after both have been replaced by this brand. They took me to an auto repair shop where they hooked it up to a computer and gave a code that both new sensors were faulty. I haven't replaced any of them yet. It's been a few months or so. I ordered new ones from another company. I hope the new ones aren't junk either.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
