A4 replaces the factory RNS-E navigation box. VW/Audi are notorious for using non-standard voltages and impedances in their audio systems, especially when it comes to BOSE systems. Effortlessly eliminate speaker noise and engine squeak

After suffering for months from engine hum and speaker static, I came across a suggestion that this was the solution to installing a secondary head unit for cars with factory amps. Wow, after installing this Scosche interface, all the annoying speaker noise is gone. The installation went directly and quickly. You just have to find the right wires. Very happy with this purchase.

  • Requires an outlet

I installed this with a JVC double din head unit that went with my amplified Bose speakers in my 1998 Nissan Maxima fits. I bought this hoping to get rid of the on/off clicking and low volume I was experiencing when connected directly to the car via the JVC radio harness. This happened right between the two straps and I didn't have to adjust the levels much. Sound quality, volume and overall sound have improved significantly. Also, I've completely eliminated any popping noises when switching on
