USB-C is a relatively new device for cars, but with Apple increasing support for faster USB-C charging and Android introducing USB-C for its ports, I wanted to keep my friends' phones calculated. But there are only chargers with one connection. Too new to be supported. So I was both amazed and concerned that the Revain only had 2 car chargers with dual USB-C ports. Couldn't buy the first one due to shipping restrictions. But it was accepted and shipped immediately! Although it's bulky and…

My wife, daughter and phone are USB-C

For a while we had 4 USB-A ports for anything we wanted to connect like USB-C, but this one offers a slow 2.4 amp and possibly less with multiple connected devices. So we had a USB-C fast charger with a fixed 18-inch cable, which we used in turn. Now we can both use a fast charger and there's a good chance the other won't need to charge their phone, or a slower USB-A charger can be used. Unlike our other charger, this one seems to fit snugly in. For in-car use, we purchased USB-C to USB-C…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Vulgarity

. although it feels very plasticky. I've tried this on 1 and 2 cars in several auto shops (4 different auto shops). At each outlet I had to constantly move the charger to keep the blue light constant and functional. I'm glad that a blue light indicates power, otherwise I would have no idea without looking at the phone(s) if the charger was working. In the main sockets in 2 different cars I have to keep moving the charger to keep the blue light on. I even tried 4 different socket extenders to…

This car charger is a diamond in disguise

I bought this charger for two main reasons: TWO USB-C ports and power. Charger with a connector to support it. Due to the fact that USB c is still not universal, most devices still have USB a outputs, which is a real bummer; but then I found Scosche. Not only is this a USB-C car charger, but it also has two outputs, which is amazing because as said above, that's all I have. I can't connect two devices and charge at the same time and I really like it. Second is the power supply. This allows…

Finally a charger with dual Type-C PD ports!

Nexus 6P and 5X were released with Type-C connectors almost 3 years ago. Since then, no one has come out with a true dual-port Type-C charger. Some have released chargers with legacy controllers physically connected to the Type-C ports, but they have not been able to deliver 3A on both ports, except for Qualcomm's proprietary QC devices. Finally Scosche shipped one and it also supports PD 3.0! Using two Satechi meters, I was able to get 33W from the charger with my Pixel 2 XL in one port and…

  • Stable test results
