Installed on a 2003 Vibe GT

Well for my Vibe it wasn't a screw in the kit. You really should find another kit if you want it closer to the screw. I used this set and it was more of a custom order than I thought it would be. Look for another kit, this is what I highly recommend.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Waste of money

After cutting to size as instructed, it turned out that the radio doesn't go through the hole at all. I bought a Jensen Stereo for my 2004 Chevy Silverado and this kit said it would work but it didn't. Be sure to check your stereo's dimensions before assuming this "compatible" kit will work.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Basically ok, but...

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More intense than expected but works well.

I think what I don't like is that you have to cut off parts of the mounting plates to fit your car. The plastic is relatively durable, which is good, but you can't cut it with a clerical knife. You'll need some sort of power tool and a steady hand to keep the leads clean on the parts visible after installation. I'm not sure what the company can do, but I'm a bit annoyed that I have to rent or buy a tool to make a clean cut for a cheap plastic plumbing kit. After I made the cuts, these fitโ€ฆ

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • crumpled

After cutting according to the parameters given in the instructions, it turned out that the radio does not fit in the hole at all. Pros

Cons
  • No power
