Positioning the radio height is the trickiest part, but it's just a matter of loosening and repositioning the mounting screws. Once this is squared this is done without any tools whatsoever. Get in, get out.

I used this dash kit on a 2012 Highlander with a Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. I simply removed the old head unit, moved the bracket to the new head unit, screwed it back on, moved the factory kill switch assembly to the dash, and put the dash back in place. I had to "trick" the factory mounts into reaching the mounting screws so the motorized surface could move freely.
