Years ago I stopped using regular kitchen sponges because they are so unsanitary. Wipes are a lot better for cleaning the sink (with Bon Ami , also a favourite) for washing pots and dishes. I sanitize them by decoction when needed, but usually rinse them in the dishwasher every time. I always have a supply of times and never want to run out again! I've used them for many years and have tried many other kitchen napkins before these are by far my favourites.

They work! Remember that if you use the Dobie in a pan with a lot of baked-on food, it will never come clean again. It can also break. I change mine monthly so it's nice to have a box on hand. These are my favorite sponges. They clean plates, pots and pans better than any sponge I've ever used. They also don't smell as quickly as other sponges, and if they do, it's very subtle. I usually throw them away because they're starting to break, not because of the smell. I usually buy them at Meijer (Midwest supermarket chain) or Menards, but I was happy to find them cheaper at Revain.
