I like this product, it doesn't scratch but is strong enough to wash off soapy water. It is also great for exfoliation. I keep an extra in my shower for this very reason rather than wasting money on expensive soaps.

I grew up wearing these silly things and throughout my adult life I always thought they were overpriced. But ordinary yellow lips with a pad of green monkey hair on top *STIN* - forever! In my experience, dobies don't stink until they break. And that weird plastic cover they have just throws the dirt out when you wash it. I think the fact that the entire surface of the sponge is raised when you lay it down (do it with a weird plastic cover) allows it to dry better and not breed the nasty…
