Perfect for the first step in polishing your jewelry

These works are perfect for polishing my handmade jewelry! They are 120 grit so you must use them at the beginning or they will leave a matte finish. I only use three at a time because they last longer. This grit is ideal for removing deep scratches or rough edges. They can be a bit difficult to put on the first time. I turn the screws upside down and then place them opposite where they should be and once you turn them over they are in the right direction. So far I've bought most of the grainsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Wireless for added security
Cons
  • Quick instructions

Ideal for polishing jewelry

If you create handmade jewelry then this product is for you! I make hand stamped bracelets and they polish them very well. You will need a Dremel or Foredom 2230, SR motor, jewelers kit. I strongly recommend a Foredom Flex shaft over a Dremel, but instead of Scotch-Brite radial discs. They can be polished excellently and have a medium roughness. They will not remove deeper scratches but will help with very light ones and will only smooth out the texture for rougher rims. They are very flexibleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Bristle spacing is perfect for removing coatings and other heavily loaded substances
Cons
  • Dull packaging

They are great for deburring metal for jewelry making!

I love these radial discs for polishing my jewelry! This is the second step I use in my buffing routine. Since they are 220 grit they will remove some of the scratches and imperfections. They don't give a glossy finish but rather a matte finish. If you want a shine you will need to buy a variety of grit and go from the coarser grit Scotch-Brite(TM) Radial Bristle Disc, Ceramic, 35000 RPM, 3/4 Diameter, 120 Grit, White (Pack of 48) a smoother or 6 micron Scotch-Brite(TM) radial bristle disc Thin

Pros
  • Proprietary 3M ceramic grit provides aggressive cutting and consistent finish throughout the life of the blade.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price.
