with a little tweaking, adding a small plastic top plate that fits my 197c hummingbird and attaches to my scotty bait board

This is Revain so it arrived on time. It doesn't fit the Humminbird Helix, but I knew that beforehand, so I had no trouble fitting it. After adjustment I have to say the swivel runs like silk and stays in place.

I have not used it as a fish finder mount. I removed the top and installed a couple of lights - they worked great for this purpose because I can now fit the inner lights into my rod holders for night fishing. It actually worked great for this purpose

I don't know which fish finder it should fit but it definitely didn't fit my Humminbird. This could be a good base for installing something else, but there's no lock here. There is also no hardware included. I ended up sending it back for something else.

NOT exactly as pictured. I had to make a plate to mount my Lowrance viewfinder. The top of the mount is a reinforced cavity. Of course, the four holes on this bracket don't line up with the three holes in the base of my viewfinder. The holes actually fit into the larger U-bolt of the viewfinder. Not really a problem as it works on my Scotty triple mount.

Got a mount for my fishing kayak. I need to install a Lowrance Mark 4 GPS/Fishfinder. With the extra holes in the base you can easily screw on the Lowrance base by mounting the base diagonally. No need to drill holes which is a big plus! The mounting base can be top or side mounted. I used the side mount position to attach it to the kayak's side panel.
