Bought this for my bedroom TV. It was easy to install, but after about a week the screen fell off the TV. Applied multiple times but not so sticky to stick. The tape seems to work to keep it in place. Considering the price I didn't expect it not to last in a week.

I applied this exactly as directed - the film has sticky edges that stick directly to the screen. After about two weeks I found that the pixels on the screen had died where the film was stuck and it has since spread all over the screen. I would advise caution when using this product and am very frustrated that my TV has been permanently damaged and may now need to be replaced.

I have a 40 inch TV. I bought the 40 inch model. The dimensions in the description corresponded exactly to the screen of my TV. The film was 1/2 inch shorter than what would have left a 1/4 inch gap all around. So how does it block blue light?! and that would be a distraction too.
