I've been using Compac colored chopsticks for a long time, but I'm always looking for something better, so I gave these a try. The sponge is not that dense; You will poke what you erase with a plastic pen. In my opinion, they are too long for normal everyday use. They can be good for washing particularly tall items, but they are too long as a substitute for a sponge. I prefer the open hanging hook over the closed loop they have.

I am the queen of scouring pads. I use them to clean my dog's bowl to clean all the corners. This garbage. It has a huge ring in the center that holds the pieces of the sponge and the plastic piece hits everything as you use it meaning there is no cleaning required aside from the center ring. The sponge is miscut and does a terrible job. There are others that are MUCH better than this one. I'm mad I bought three. save your money Even if you only clean your dog's bowl.

I bought these instead of the ones I buy regularly as they were about the same price but I got 3 of them instead of 1. Well, it's all very badly put together (some pieces of sponge pushed together) from the ring in the middle, and they keep moving. Lips or something are brittle and start falling off after just a week of use. So I would be lucky enough to get as much life from these three as I would from the one I normally buy.

I ordered them to find out that the spongy part was actually just threaded through the loop. I haven't been able to get it out of the loop, but I'm sure it can happen pretty easily if you're not careful, and I bet it'll be difficult to put back in place. Most of them have this part attached to the top much more securely. The handle flexes - I don't think it's going to break anytime soon, but it's weird to feel one of these glass cleaners with a handle that flexes the way they do. not that bad.
